Megan's Photo Blog |
For this assingment we had to go out and take a minimum of 50 pictures and pick your best one to turn in and then blog your best ten. We had to pick form categories like macro, landscapes ect. For this picture the iso is 800, the shutter speed is 1/30 and the aperture f/6.3. I learned doing this that you have to take a lot of breaks so the person can blink and that you should take as many pictures as you can as fast as you can. And with the sun coming in and out of the room I had to keep changing the iso to make sure it was not to dark.

For this assignment we had to take a car and put it in photoshop and fix it using the clone stamp selection tool ect. And then take a picture of your own and edit that one using some of the same tools.
For this assignment we had to take a minimum of 50 pictures in a specific category. For example people or animal. And then pick the best one to turn in. For this picture the iso was 400, the shutter speed 1/320, aperture was f/6.3. What I learned doing this assignment was that people do more moving so I had to pay closer attention to the shutter speed. And because we were shooting outside I had to pay very close attention to the iso because the light was always changing, with the sun and the moving of where we were taking pictures. I think they turned out really well.
For this assignment we had to take a picture of us and turn black and white first and than put 4 on on page and make each a different color. And than do the same thing with the picture of your choice and the colors of your choice. All in photoshop. The biggest thing I learned was how to move layers from corner to corner and how to make a black and white picture colored. I learned a lot doing this assignment because I had never used photoshop before so there was a lot to learn.
For Photo 2 I have chosen to do people because I did very still things last week, so I wanted to do something that moves. I wanted to get better using shutter speed for things that are moving. I also thought it would be fun and different.
So images I found for inspiration are: For this assignment we chose for different categories for example landscapes, macro, still life ect. We had to take a minimum of 50 pictures, in the category that we picked then we had to pick the best one and turn it in. This is my best photo is has an iso of 200 a shutter speed of 1/30 and the aperture is f/7.1. What I learned when doing this assignment was you don't have to go far to find good pictures spots and you have to pay very close attention to the iso especially when it is starting to get dark. And because what I was taking pictures of didn't move I had to worry more about the iso with the light so they weren't to light or to dark.
For my first photo assignment I choose landscape. I am hoping to get better at capturing a larger depth of field. Getting clear pictures with big depth of fields. I want to be able to get a tree in the snow. I think it will help with my focusing skills, because you have to deal with wind and maybe snow.
Some photos that I will use inspiration are: In this assignment we had to learn how to use the cameras. Learn about the 11 elements of composition like lines, rule of 3rds..... My name is Megan Day. I enjoy running cross county and track. I live with my parents and younger brother. I choses to take this class because I needed a tech credit and this class sounded really fun. I enjoy taking pictures and wanted to get better at taking pictures.
